Synopsis

Vera’s bored care-home routine is disrupted when her neighbour Ivy offers her magical mint humbugs – sweets that promise intense pleasure, as long as one rule is obeyed: save the middle bit for ‘the Humbug’.

But as temptation grows, so does the risk of breaking the rules. ‘TheHumbug’ is an absurd, darkly comic horror about addiction, control, and the peril of escape.
